Disable Control Panel

To Disable the Control Panel in Windows 2000/Me/XP open the registry and Navigate to either [HKEY_CURRENT_USER SoftwareMicrosoft\Windows CurrentVersionPolicies\Explorer] or [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SoftwareMicrosoft\Windows\CurrentVersionPolicies\Explorer] and then either modify or create a new DWORD value named NoControlPanel and set the value data to 1. Now exit the registry, and restart your computer for the change to take effect.
