Disable Command Prompt

To Disable the Command Prompt and/or Batch Files in Windows 2000/XP open the registry and Navigate to

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System]

and then either modify or create a new DWORD value named DisableCMD and set the value data to one of the following:
0 - (default) enable command prompt and batch files
1 - disable command prompt and batch files
2 - disable command prompt but allow batch files
Now exit the registry, and restart your computer for the change to take effect.
