Automatic Window Refresh

To configure the system to perform faster automatic updates in Windows 95/98/Me open the registry and Navigate to

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Update]

and then either modify or create a new DWORD value named UpdateMode and set the value data to 0. Now exit the registry, and restart your computer for the change to take effect
