Unable to send large email attachments in Outlook Express

  • Open Outlook Express. Click on Tool > Account.
  • The Internet Account window pops up and see the Mail tab in the foreground.
  • Click on Properties

  • You will reach the email properties window. Select the Advanced tab.
  • Towards the bottom of the window you will find a section called Sending. You will see a box that is labeled Break apart messages larger than. Check the box.
  • To the right of that box, you will see another box with up and down arrows. Click the up arrow until you see 9000 displayed.
  • Click Apply and then OK.

  • From now on you will be able to send large email attachments through Outlook Express.
