How to Enable Ctrl and click to open hyperlink in Word 2007. Open hyperlink with Ctrl and click in document. Use Ctrl and Click to follow hyperlink.

Details:
Word 2007 enables you to create hyperlinks in the documents. When you create hyperlink in the document, you can open the Web page from the document by just clicking on it. You need not open the browser, enter URL in the address bar, and open the Web page. Most of the users operate mouse click to work with document. When you keep hyperlink to open just with a single-click, it may open unnecessarily while working with documents. You can set the hyperlink to open with the keyboard 'Ctrl' key and single-click of mouse. When you perform these two tasks together, then only hyperlink will open as Web page in another window.

Solution:


To enable Ctrl and click to open hyperlink:
1) Open Microsoft Word document.
2) Click the 'Microsoft Office' button.
3) Click the 'Word Options' button. (The 'Word Options' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Advanced' button. (The 'Advanced' screen appears.)


5) Select the 'Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink' check box.
6) Click 'OK'.
